1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the WorkedToday mobile application ("App") and related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WorkedToday ("we", "our", or "us"). We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
WorkedToday is a mobile application designed to help users:
- Track work hours and shifts
- Log earnings and payments
- Manage employer/client relationships
- View work history and statistics
The App is provided as a personal productivity tool and is not intended to replace official timekeeping systems, payroll software, or legal employment records.
3. Account Registration
To use the App, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- Your name
- A secure password
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Collect or harvest user data without authorization
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Use the App to create false or fraudulent work records
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any data, text, or content you submit to the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Services to you.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:
- You have the right to submit the content
- Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
- Your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not use it for purposes other than providing the Services, except as required by law.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by WorkedToday and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Use our trademarks without written permission
- Create derivative works based on the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services including:
- Google Firebase: For authentication, data storage, analytics, and crash reporting
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- The App will meet your specific requirements
- Any errors or defects will be corrected
- The App is free of viruses or harmful components
Important: The App is a personal tracking tool. Work records in the App are not official employment records. You should maintain separate official records as required by your employer or applicable laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORKEDTODAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account
- Any disputes between you and your employer regarding work records
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WorkedToday and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your User Content
11. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to pay any applicable fees (if any)
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting a notice in the App
- Sending an email to your registered address
- Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:
- Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues amicably
- Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules
You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WorkedToday regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
